The PCN Nurse can provide an ankle-brachial index (ABI) as a quick noninvasive way to check your risk of peripheral artery diease (PAD).  

People with PAD are at a high risk of heart attack, stroke, poor circulThe ankle-brachial index (ABI) test is ation and leg pain.  The ABI compares blood pressure in your ankle to blood pressure in your arm. This test shows how well blood is flowing in your limbs.‚Äč
