Ankle-Brachial Index (ABI)

The PCN Nurse can provide an ankle-brachial index (ABI) as a quick noninvasive way to check your risk of peripheral artery disease (PAD).    

People with PAD are at a high risk of heart attack, stroke, poor circulate ankle-brachial index (ABI) test is action and leg pain.  The ABI compares blood pressure in your ankle to blood pressure in your arm. This test shows how well blood is flowing in your limbs.​
