Kalyna Country PCN is seeking one part time, Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) (0.60 FTE) to work within Vermilion Midtown Medical Clinic. The successful candidate will be working with a multi-disciplinary team at the KCPCN Vegreville site to positively impact the health of our clinic patients. Our clinic can be a busy facility at times and may require critical outside the box thinking to make quick positive changes. Management is remote and not always on site with team members therefore, independent working skills and strong leadership skills are a must. Advanced Practice Foot care would be seen as an asset but not required. The successful candidate must be in good standing with CLPNA, pass Security Screening, and provide a record of immunization status.

22.5 Hours a week- 37.5 Hours a week

Schedule:

• Day shift
• No weekends

Work Location: In person

Work Experience or Education

• Current registration with College of Licenced Practical Nurses of Alberta. 
• At least 3+ years of work experience in supervisory in health care delivery.
• Advanced Practice Foot care is an asset. 
• Experience working in a team setting with other health professionals.
• Basic computer skills, ability to use Electronic Medical Records.
• Strong, effective written and oral communication skills, coupled with a high level of perceptiveness.
• Ability to work proactively, effectively, and independently in a complex changing environment.
• High levels of integrity and professional behavior.
• A clear criminal record check.
• Fully immunized for Covid 19
• CPR
• Valid driver’s license.
